Stuck on a word? Try this:

* Look at the first letter, then look at the picture. Do they match?

* Read around the word, and then decide what makes sense there

* Look for chunks that you know inside the word

* Look for words that you know inside the word

* Take a running start and see what happens, the word might pop into your head!



Make sure the word looks right, sounds right, and most importantly that it makes sense!!!
